IT Support Specialist

Job Summary

inExhaust is an industrial silencer & exhaust systems manufacturer located in Lincoln, Nebraska. We are
looking for motivated individuals who will have a positive impact on our company and share the excitement
of our successes as we continue to grow. The IT Support Specialist will provide technical support to
inExhaust employees to ensure efficient IT operations so employees can complete their work efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Install hardware and software making sure they are properly connected to inExhaust systems.
• Perform tasks such as hardware and software updates, testing, and network monitoring.
• Assist in maintaining databases, ensuring data integrity.
• Respond to employee requests for assistance with computer systems in a timely manner.
• Instruct employees in the use of new or updated hardware and software.
• Work with an external IT service team to protect company systems and data from security threats.
• Assist in the set-up of new hires for onboarding.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience managing and configuring databases such as MariaDB, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with help desk or IT ticketing systems
• Basic hardware troubleshooting, including replacing or testing cables(HDMI, ethernet) and peripherals
• Switching configuration and basic network diagnostics
• General LAN/WAN environments and common network problems

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (account setup, permissions, OneDrive, Teams)
• Detail oriented
• Able to manage time and multi-task
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Professional and positive attitude

Work Environment

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (account setup, permissions, OneDrive, Teams)
This is a working manufacturing and production facility. As such this is a hot, dusty, loud area,
and there are always moving parts. Caution and attention to your surroundings needs to always be
at the forefront of your mind as safety always starts with you.

Travel

Less than 10% per year.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee required to use hands and fingers to handle
or feel. The employee is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities
required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision,
depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
